MARTIN CUSTOM HOMES BUILDING PROCESS

Martin Custom Homes will gladly guide you through the building process. Here is a brief layout of how the system works

STEP 1: CONTACT US. We will need a general idea of what type of home you would like to build, size, number of rooms and location.

STEP 2: We will arrange to meet with you to discuss more specifically what your desires are; what types of finishes, fireplaces, garage space, kitchen cabinet style and finish, countertops, hardwood flooring, carpeting, and hardware, etc. We will also discuss existing models we have that may meet your needs or design a new custom plan specifically for you. We will discuss financing options, or you may have financing already in place. Listing and marketing your existing home if necessary is easily handled and coordinated by our team. We will also take you on tour to visit some existing homes we have built so you can get a firsthand look at our workmanship.

STEP 3: After touring and discussion any changes you may wish to make to your original plans are completed. We will then quote you the price of your build. If agreeable and with pre-approval from your financing source we will execute a building contract and send your plans to an architect for blueprints. Deposit required at this point.

STEP 4: After review of your architectural plans any final changes may be done and we are ready to start the actual building process.

STEP 5: The sequential steps of the actual process are explained in your building contract. You are welcome to visit the site and share your comments with us at anytime during the build. The approximate time for building is 140 days.
